The Junior League of San Diego, Inc. is part of an international organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
We are rooted in the belief that a group of women can be a powerful force for change. JLSD offers women the opportunity to implement change in our community and to connect with other women with a concern for present and future generations.
The Junior League of San Diego deeply values building a better San Diego by developing community partnerships and providing women with opportunities for personal growth in an environment that promotes the establishment of lifelong friendships.
The Junior League’s community programs support San Diego’s transitional-age foster youth as they make the critical move into independent adult life. The Junior League of San Diego also works to raise public awareness and league education around the issue of human trafficking.
